The level at Naburn is 3.4m and continues to fall slowly. We expect access roads to remain flooded in Naburn. We are not expecting properties to flood at this level. Further rain is forecast on Friday and into the weekend and we expect this will cause river levels to rise again. Our Area Incident Room remains open and we will be monitoring the situation closely. River Ouse
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Ciara. The level at the York Viking recorder is 3.7 metres. Access roads will begin to flood and flooding of other roads and farmland is possible. The River Ouse is forecast to peak at 4.2 metres around 05:00 on Tuesday 11/2/2020.
